SHAW ANNOUNCES THAT REWARD OFFERED TO HELP LOCATE MISSING MAN |

Shaw identified the missing man as Justin Lewis Demko, age 27, of 406 East 20th Street, Clearfield, Pennsylvania.
Shaw stated that Demko was first reported missing to the Lawrence Township Police Department on July 1, 2011. Acting on information received by investigators working the case, a coordinated search was conducted to locate items of evidence that may assist in locating Demko.
On Friday, August 26 and Saturday August 27, 2011, search teams combed properties near the R.J. Corman Rail Yard in Clearfield Borough. The search expanded to include properties behind the Bionol plant and along the Susquehanna River. Additional information learned during the search caused investigators to search a second site located in the Guinea Hill Road area of Lawrence Township.
Shaw stated that the Lawrence Township Police were assisted in the search by the C.A.E.S.A.R. Southwest K-9 Search & Rescue Team from Greenville, Pennsylvania, the Clearfield Borough Police, the Pennsylvania State Police Aviation Unit, the Clearfield County Sheriff’s Department, Clearfield County Emergency Management, Clearfield Borough Fire Department, the Lawrence Township Fire Department No. 5, 6, 7, the Curwensville Fire Department, the BJW Fire Department, the DuBois City Fire Department, the Sandy Township Fire Department, the Goshen Fire Department, the Morris Township Fire Department, the Lawrence
Township/Clearfield Borough Fire Police, the American Red Cross, the Clearfield Emergency Medical Services, Clearfield County GIS and Tax Assessment Offices.

INFORMATION WANTED TO SOLVE ROBBERY OF SENIOR CITIZEN |

 LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP- Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced today that the Clearfield County Crime Stoppers is seeking information relating to a robbery at a residence on Race Street, Clearfield.
Shaw stated that on Sunday, August 7, 2011, the Lawrence Township Police responded to a residence on Race Street for a report of a theft. Upon arrival at the scene, the victim, a senior citizen, relayed that he was sitting on the porch of his residence when a woman entered onto the porch and asked him for change for a twenty dollar bill. The victim further relayed that the woman handed him two one dollar bills however he returned those to her when he realized she had not handed him the proper amount. The woman them reached into the victim's front pocket and unlawfully removed his wallet. The victim also relayed that the woman then ran to her car and left the scene.
The female perpetrator was described as being between 20 to 25 years of age, with shoulder length blonde hair, and approximately 5'5" to 6' in height. The female was further described as wearing a yellow tank top shirt and khaki capri pants at the time of the incident. Additionally, the female's vehicle was described as a Gold or Silver Chevrolet car.

INFORMATION WANTED TO SOLVE RITE AID ARMED ROBBERY |

 LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP- Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced today that the Clearfield County Crime Stoppers is seeking information relating to an armed robbery at the Rite Aid on the Clearfield Curwensville Highway.
Shaw stated that on Monday, May 30, 2011 at approximately 5:15 p.m. a man entered the Rite Aid store wearing a mask, dark-colored gloves, a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and dark sneakers. The male suspect was carrying a large, black, semi-automatic handgun. The suspect is described as a white male with blue eyes.
Upon entering the Rite Aid, the suspect went directly to the Pharmacy area in the rear of the store and ordered an employee to the floor. The suspect then demanded prescription medication from the pharmacist. After the suspect obtained the prescription medication, he ordered another employee to the back of the store. The suspect then left the store and fled in a truck heading west on SR 879 towards Curwensville. The vehicle was described as being a full-size Ford extended cab truck that was two-tone in color, with dark gray on the top and silver on the bottom.

WANTED FOR DUBOIS BURGLARY |

Shaw reported that on January 25, 2011 the DuBois City Police Department was dispatched to a Love Street residence for the report of a burglary that had just occurred. Shaw stated that the victim reported that she arrived at her residence and found that the rear door was ajar. Upon entering her residence the victim found that an unknown male was inside her home, and that the male asked her if she had found his dog. The male then ran from the residence, heading towards Patterson Avenue.
Upon investigation it was found that jewelry was missing from the victim's home. The victim also relayed that the male had an "olive" complexion and was wearing a green hooded sweatshirt or jacket and blue jeans.
Shaw stated that on February 17, 2011, the DuBois City Police Department received a report of a burglary at a residence on Patterson Avenue. Upon arrival at the scene, Officers reported that there was forced entry to the front door of the residence. Officers secured the residence and did not locate anyone inside. The victim relayed that a bottle of prescription medicine and a coin collection were missing from his home.

CRIME STOPPERS OFFERS REWARD FOR INFORMATION
CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced today that the Clearfield County Crime Stoppers is seeking information relating to a burglary in Coalport Borough.
Shaw stated that a private residence in Coalport Borough was broken into between July 3, 2010, and July 7, 2010. Personal property belonging to the victim was taken during the burglary.
While investigating the incident, the Pennsylvania State Police, Woodland Barracks, located a number of items that were stolen during the burglary in a wooded area off of Hegerty Road in Coalport. The stolen property recovered includes:
