CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced the capture of a wanted fugitive.

Shaw identified the Fugitive as Cory Eminhizer, age 30, of Grassflat Avenue, Grassflat, Pennsylvania.

Eminhizer was added to the Clearfield County Fugitive of the Week list on November 21, 2011.

On May 26, 2011, Trooper Robert Straw of the Pennsylvania State Police, Clearfield Barracks, filed a Criminal Complaint charging Eminhizer with:1) Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Controlled Substance, M; 2) Registration and Certificate of Title Required, S; 3) Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked, S; 4) Required Financial Responsibility, S; 5) Driving On Roadways Laned for Traffic, S; and 6) Operation of Vehicle Without Official Certificate of Inspection, S.

An Affidavit of Probable Cause filed by Trooper Straw states that on May 19, 2011, the Pennsylvania State Police responded to the scene of a one vehicle accident on Main Street in Cooper Township. Upon making contact with the driver of the vehicle, Straw detected signs of impairment and requested that Eminhizer perform field sobriety tests.  After administering the field sobriety tests, Eminhizer was transported for blood alcohol testing.

CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced the capture of a wanted fugitive.

Shaw identified the Fugitive as Michael Carter, age 38, of Post Office Road, Mineral Springs, Pennsylvania.

Carter was added to the Clearfield County Fugitive of the Week list on January 3, 2012.

On October 20, 2011, the Clearfield Borough Police Department, filed a Criminal Complaint charging Carter with:1) Theft By Unlawful Taking or Disposition, M1; and 2) Receiving Stolen Property, M1.

An Affidavit of Probable Cause filed by Patrolman Dixon states that in October 2011 the Clearfield Borough Police Department began an investigation into the theft of a chainsaw from a residence on Ogden Avenue in Clearfield Borough. Upon investigation it was found that Carter had unlawfully taken the victim's chainsaw which was valued at approximately $400.00.

CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced the capture of a wanted fugitive.

Shaw identified the Fugitive as Nadine Decker, age 37, of Mingoville, Pennsylvania.

Decker was added to the Clearfield County Fugitive of the Week list on November 14, 2011.

On June 3, 2011, Patrolman Eric McBride of the Clearfield Borough Police Department, filed a Criminal Complaint charging Decker with:1) Theft By Deception, M2; and 2) Bad Checks, S.

An Affidavit of Probable Cause filed by Patrolman McBride states that in April 2011, the Clearfield Borough Police received a report of theft and bad checks from a Clearfield business. Upon investigation it was found that Decker had issued a check in order to obtain merchandise and services, however the check was returned for insufficient funds. Decker was advised that the check was returned, and failed to pay the amount owed to the business.

CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced the capture of a wanted fugitive.

Shaw identified the Fugitive as Tesia Tkacik, age 21, of Coal Hill Road, Clearfield, Pennsylvania.

Tkacik was added to the Clearfield County Fugitive of the Week list on October 31, 2011.

On September 15, 2011, Patrolman Charles Marshall, Jr., of the Lawrence Township Police Department, filed a Criminal Complaint charging Tkacik with: 1) Driving Under the Influence, M; 2) Careless Driving, S; 3) Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic, S; and 4) Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed.

An Affidavit of Probable Cause filed by Patrolman Marshall states that on August 7, 2011, the Lawrence Township Police Department was dispatched to the scene of a one vehicle accident on Mann Road in Lawrence Township. Upon making contact with the driver of the vehicle, Marshall detected signs of impairment and requested that Tkacik perform field sobriety tests.  After administering the field sobriety tests, Tkacik was transported to the Clearfield Hospital for blood testing.

CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced the capture of a wanted fugitive.

Shaw identified the Fugitive as Joshua Barger, age 19, of Scott Lane, Philipsburg, Pennsylvania.

Barger was added to the Clearfield County Fugitive of the Week list on September 26, 2011.

On February 28, 2011, Trooper Mary McGinnis of the Pennsylvania State Police, Clearfield Barracks, filed a Criminal Complaint charging Barger with: 1) Criminal Attempt to Commit Burglary, F2; and 2) Criminal Mischief, S.

An Affidavit of Probable Cause filed by Trooper McGinnis states that on November 29, 2010, the Pennsylvania State Police were dispatched to the Fuel On located on Walton Street in Philipsburg. After arriving at the scene, Troopers observed that cement blocks had been thrown against the glass doors of the business. Upon investigation, it was found that Barger had thrown the cement blocks at the glass doors of the business in an attempt to gain entry into the store.
