Beau M. Grove

First Assistant District Attorney

ImageBeau joined the Clearfield County District Attorney’s Office in August of 2010 and was appointed to the position of First Assistant District Attorney on January 3, 2011.  Beau prosecutes adult felony and misdemeanor cases.  Beau is responsible for the prosecution of drug cases and works closely with the Clearfield County Drug Task Force.  Beau supervises the asset forfeiture division of the District Attorney's Office.  He also prosecutes juvenile offenders, and represents the Commonwealth at preliminary hearings and summary appeals.

Beau obtained his Bachelor Degree from the Pennsylvania State University, and graduated cum laude from the Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware.  At Widener Beau was a member of Law Review, serving as the Research Editor. Beau previously served as the judicial law clerk for Clearfield County from August 2009-August 2010, and was a certified legal intern at the Chester County District Attorney’s Office.





 
Trudy G. Lumadue

Assistant District Attorney


ImageTrudy joined the office in January of 2010.  She is Chief of the appeals unit and responds to all appellate court issues including federal habeas corpus petitions and federal appeals. Trudy also handles all PCRA requests and hearings.   Trudy prosecutes adult misdemeanor and felony cases and represents the Commonwealth at preliminary hearings.

Trudy obtained her Bachelor Degree and a Master of Arts Degree from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  Her law degree was earned from California Western School of Law in San Diego, California.  Cal-West is a private ABA school where Trudy attended on a full-scholarship.  Trudy was a member of Law Review and the Appellate Court Competition Team.  Trudy is licensed to practice law in the state of California and in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.  She has experience working on high profile, federal criminal cases in California.  Trudy returned to Pennsylvania in 2005 and was employed at the office of Naddeo & Lewis as an associate civil litigator for three years prior to accepting the position of Assistant District Attorney.






Josh S. Maines

Assistant District Attorney

ImageJosh joined the Clearfield County District Attorney’s Office in September, 2010.  Josh prosecutes both adult and juvenile cases involving various offenses, including driving under the influence, theft, and assault.  Josh supervises the prosecution of crimes that occur within the State Correction Institute at Houtzdale, the Quehanna Boot Camp,  the Clearfield County Jail, and the Moshannon Valley Correctional Center.  Josh represents the Commonwealth at preliminary hearings and assists with appellate and PCRA issues.

Josh obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science/Pre-law from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania in May of 2000, and went on to receive his law degree from Widener University School of Law in Harrisburg, PA, in May of 2004. At Widener, he attended evening classes while maintaining a full-time career in HR Management with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.  After law school, Josh continued his HR career with the PA Department of Transportation, specializing in Workers’ Compensation, Safety, and Employee Relations.






 Warren B. Mikesell, III

Assistant District Attorney


ImageWarren is a lifelong resident of Clearfield County. Upon high school graduation, Warren enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served from 1977 through 1985. Warren graduated with honors from Grove City College in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration and Economics. Warren earned his law degree from the Dickinson School of Law. As a law student, Warren served as a Legislative Legal Intern for the Honorable Senator Robert Jubelirer, President Pro Tempore of the Pennsylvania Senate from May 1989 to June 1991.

After earning his law degree, Warren joined the law firm of Mikesell & Mikesell. Warren has served as an Assistant District Attorney under the Honorable Fredric J. Ammerman from 1992 through 1994 and again under the Honorable Paul E. Cherry from March 2003 until January 2004. Warren has further served Clearfield County as a part-time public defender. Warren re-joined the team of prosecutors at the District Attorney's Office in November 2006. Warren is responsible for felony and misdemeanor trials. Warren conducts preliminary hearings for the Commonwealth and drafts appellate court briefs.
